Disgruntled Lathrop man develops website to blast home builder
LATHROP, Calif. - A Lathrop man has created a website to speak out against a national home builder he says provided substandard work.
Homeowner Brandon Sandiford said he developed the website KB-homesucks.com to document all the headaches his family has encountered since moving into the home constructed by KB Home builders.
Sandiford says he purchased the house three years ago and after a few months he noticed ceiling bumps, cracking in the floor and problems with insulation. He said the builder has returned to fix the issues several times but the problems only get worse with each return visit.
Sandifer said he even advertises the website on his car to get his point out to the builder.
“Now we got two websites against them, KB Home. We offered to give them the website for buying the home back they refused they don’t feel it’s a problem home,” said Sandifer.
In a released statement KB Home said:
“Our goal remains the same, to provide quality customer service to all of our homeowners and to resolve their concerns as quickly as possible.”
KB also says they have agreed to go back again to fix Sandiford’s problems but he won’t allow them perform the work inside his house.
Sandiford says he won’t let them in the house anymore because he doesn’t trust their work.
