Got Cracked or damaged KB Home Roads / Streets?
Several months back I had the opportunity to speak with some folks from the KB Home community of Carriage Lakes in Vero Beach, Florida. Along with an extensive amount of leaks and foreclosures they also were reporting that their roads were not built to code. The residents of that community reported that the repairs were expensive and the residents had to pick-up the bill.
Well, yesterday morning before I left, I noticed that the huge circular crack around the sewer in front of my home appears to be getting worse. Is this a sinkhole in the making, poorly constructed road, or something entirely different? As you can see from the pictures taken this morning, there is a huge dumpster near the spot in the road that appears to have some problems. One has to wonder what the hell is going on with our streets in Willowbrook and what type of impact the heavy construction vehicles have to the our streets and if one of the construction vehicles or resident vehicles will fall into hole one day? Also, has us thinking if there is a GVW limitation on the bridge coming into Willowbrook and who would be reponsible for the repairs on the bridge if it got damaged? Just a little food for thought…
Manatee County sent a gentleman named John Hancock (941)-708-7497 out to inspect the streets within Willowbrook. Mr. Hancock indicated that the cracking is due to the asphalt being flexible.
